About

The Medieval Nordic Legal Dictionary (MNLD) is an ongoing project hosted by The Department of Swedish Language and Multilingualism at the University of Stockholm. A general description of the project is available on the University MNLD Website. Generous funding has been provided by The Swedish Research Council for the creation of a dictionary of legal terminology used in the Nordic lands during the Middle Ages.

MNLD is a part of the Medieval Nordic Laws (MNL) project based at the University of Aberdeen.
